  • WIND TURBINE?

  • You know Casey.... I honestly believe that as long as you do what you love.... and you are just your self and not trying to be someone else to be popular on RO-tv.... there is really no struggle at all. Because everything comes out naturally, you really don’t stress much to be your self. You burn out when you are trying to be someone else. I may be wrong but that’s my opinion. Cheers bro.

  • No white spray painted shades today?

  • Quality > Quantity will always win me over. All day every day! Not sure the younger generation understands that concept just yet. I'm not a subscriber or a fan of PewDiePie and never heard of Alisha but here I am a Casey subscriber!

  • I think one of the critiques of hustle-porn is that it often infers that in order for you to be happy, you have to have a large amount of external success. One question you could ask is: "Casey, do you think you could have still had a happy life without 10 million subscribers?" Most research says, yes people's happiness is not really linked to external outcomes (like how many subscribers you have)

  • Hard work is so necessary. Appreciate the video!

  • Also there are burnt out viewers. Sometime we get burnout watching the same people uploading videos for the sake of uploading. Sometimes it's best to unsubscribe from people, take a break, watch other people for a while. Find new people to watch and follow.

  • thanks for sharing the part about what you sacrificed to grow from 200k to now. I think the hardest part of the platform is from 0-10k. Finding your way onto and up the ladder is the toughest part, IMO. Getting that initial momentum is where most people burn out and quit.

  • Alisha marie????? it is so hard to put a camera on yourself and record yourself going to the mall and partying? Seriously? This is hard work now a days? Try working in artificial intelligence. Recording yourself doing your make up or hanging out with friends is not hard work. That is called the new era of being a lazy zombie. The reason why most of these youtubers are burnt out is because at the end of the day they know their content is nothing but brainless material that is leading this generation into the pits of hell. My generation sucks. By the way these people work for the elite who never post but get millions of views.

  • You are the best.

  • Well said.......

  • Love ya bro, always create at your own pace. I immensely appreciate these introspectives you have and listen when you speak about them.

  • They used “breaks” in the article when they should have used “brakes”

  • thoughtful and profound...thank you

  • Burnout or overwork ?

  • Ooooh I like 2019 Casey

  • kc is in south africa while the rest of u freeze to DEATH

  • 85 mil actually

  • THIS is the reason I'm not past 100k yet. I decided that it wasn't worth it. I'm living life again. At 90k now and probably will hit 100k this year, but no frets... just live life and enjoy it.

  • Just found you casey.! Thru david d. Love it. You are nice & calm & relaxed

  • 0 follower, 0 pressure, 100% happy

  • It gives youtubers and consumers a different perspective. Interning, love it.

  • I will say a lot of times I jump on RO-tv some of my favorite creators aren’t in the feed and I have to remember “oh hey where’s so-and-so, do they have anything new? Let me go check!” I don’t always remember and often end up watching whatever is right there on the feed.

  • Your such a wise person with introspection of being a successful person. Better than the Logan Paul’s and Jake Paul’s. Better quality and balance. Great video Casey

  • Dat Canada goose and Canada Dry wombo combo

  • You beard look very good Keep it

  • It's more important now than ever sub to PewDiePie

  • What happend to 368????????????

  • Pewds may be Tiered but he won’t quit until t series gives up

  • Haha I predicted this video will come soon! And here its ! ..dude i like your videos ..but i will never be or wanted to be in your shoes ..too much pressure and responsibilities...i m glad you picked ur family over a channel ..at the end ..those are your real followers! (Remember this) ..i ran into you couple times in the battery hood. But i never bother to interrupt your time w your family ..because i know how precious it is 👍. They called it growing up ..

  • Great thoughts, thank you for sharing!

  • Thanks for uploading less haha! Let me explain: As a passionate RO-tv viewer, I find it harder and harder to follow all my favourite channels (15 ish) if they upload every day while combining full time job! Anyway, take care of yourself and your family and thank you for the honnesty!

  • Casey I agree with you. You are right on spot. I've followed a few blogs for a long time on family and friends and they've become so disappointed in keeping up with their blogs, I don't even bother to look them up. I've actually unsubscribed because I just lost interest in Fun for Louie, Ben Brown, etc. I even gave up on you. This blog has educated me on understanding why bloggers give up and burn out. Keep up with your your amazing love and encouragement to all bloggers! Love to you and family, God Bless! xxx

  • Great topic here. "Burnout" is something i've been struggling with for years. p.s. The pie chart definitely came in handy. Thanks for the visual.

  • Absolutely LOVE the pie chart

  • Great video as always. I agree with you that hard work is required, but I also believe loving what you do or following your passion will get you to success without feeling like you are busting your ass off as you're saying. In other words, in order to be successful in any industry, you have to do it because you love it and you'll strive for triumph whether there's an incentive or not.

  • Rofl this is the only channel no one watches anymore.

  • “Press forward. Do not stop, do not linger in your journey, but strive for the mark set before you.” -George Whitefield

  • Ive always wondered this about wealthy people? And not just youtube creators but they could fit into it as well if they are super successful financially! What i wonder with wealthy people is when is it enough 5 million 10 million 20 million Even people with hundreds of millions. When is it enough Why do people continue to strive for more wealth and continue to work? When is it enough? I bet if you asked people before they found success they could tell you a number, but it seems like everyone gets so caught up in making money. Instead of just enjoying it once it is enough? I dont get that. For me the number used to be 1 million But with the cost of everything now days im gonna have to say $2 million.

    • Maybe its more about not wanting to disappoint the consumer. After all, it is because of them that the creator can live a more comfortable life. And with not letting the consumer down you have to keep working.

  • His photo should be in their too.

  • What did u just ride. What is that. I need it.

  • Quality leads to longevity. I love it, Casey. Thank you.

  • isnt this why leafy left

  • Well said.

  • So true. 😎😁😎

  • Is it successful what you are really talking about or is it happiness??? To me it looks like what hits you when you get to a “successful” place is that your actually discover that you are not happy with it, and then you change your mind trying to find something (style, ideas and videos) that makes you happy (not successful). (Even tho for some people being successful means having more things makes them happy). I’d love if you make a video more about happiness and not success, happiness as an inspiration and not success as an inspiration, to me at least, being happy means being successful (nor just with life, but with things we do all the time, things we have, share and and live with). Love u from 🇺🇾

  • i only 1000 subs I burn out already

  • I think these creators created their own issues.. Burnt out.. Just don't do it anymore. Do something else. You created the following.

  • You "worked your ass off" for what, like, less than a 1000 days and you "deserved" all your fame&fortune?! Fuck you!

  • Shmuck

  • I like your honesty , allways have

  • I think what you're saying applies to all types of creators, including writers. No one should feel the need to work to the point of exhaustion. Plus, I find that when there's more space between uploads, the content is of higher quality, in most instances.

  • Anyone who dislikes the video. Have you ever worked a job in your life?

  • Ay Casey, where those joggers from? Tryna cop those for my man

  • U are using felix photo as thumbnail... well played

  • One may say i'm an ignorat but jeez let's not play our problems down only because they're so called "first-world-problems". What's the difference? Everyone has a different point of view, right? So maybe our hardships would be silly for the others but it doesn't change the fact they may be still overwhelming for us.

  • I guess it would be a shame. Most of them would be practically unemployable....and not willing to work for $15/hr in a what is considered "traditional" employment

  • I’m feeling the burn now... Less creative. No motivation. It sucks

  • That’s good then

  • my son and i love that train video

  • i like your hair dood

  • Nice new glasses.

  • *Gary Vee has entered the chat*

  • What kind of jacket is that?

  • You look sharp man, nice video and i like you have an original game boy on your desk 😁

  • maybe if you sleep more you wouldn't have to try so hard to draw a circle and cut them out of paper. ;)

  • Kpop guy

  • Relevancy. I haven't seen any of your videos and like 2 years yet I Still Know Who You Are Edit: I'll leave the main message unedited, but let's have a moment of silence for autocorrect

  • How can the king of burnt out you tubers, ‘Casey Neistat’, make a video titled burnt out youtubers and then put the lord and saviour Pewdiepie in the thumbnail.

  • I can understand, most people feel overwhelmed. Just replace 'RO-tv Creator' with 'Dad', 'Manager', 'Leader', 'Son', 'Single Mother' etc and people can find it overwhelming too. It's the nature of things, that they lose the element of wonder over time. So accepting the idea that all this success, hardship, failure is transitory and just keep creating, could be an antidote. In the end, it is a choice and all turns out well if you put in the effort. All the best to the creators!

  • Yup

  • Nice douche bag hair style. Not obvious at all that you're just trying to look cool and fit in.

  • And don’t forget...sub to pewdiepie!!!

  • 7:54 just look at the cursor on the screen what the hell I didn't notice it at first

  • Meanwhile every kid is burned out at school, and nobody gives a fuck. Im tired at school no matter how much sleep i get.

  • Awesome. I have a playlist on mental health for musicians which touches on much of this on my channel. Not trying to spam - I've been through it and I think my advice is worth listening to. Cheers.

  • Alisha Marie

  • K-POP!!!!

  • I am wondering, how many people in the normal life, with hard work, yes, excluding the youtubers here, put so many effort in their "nonrelevant" work for some lil money and they life for it, and they don't call it burnout but just normal life? The guys who paint your house or even building it? I am sorry for all the RO-tvrs, there are people out there who do hard work probably 10 hours a day and don't tell everyone they have burnouts! Hello? Did you try to think of people who have to deal with a family life, really hard work or having a responsibility? I at least know humans are unique, but I see at least 60% of the RO-tvrs complaining about burnouts and I just don't believe it! You and the youtubers at your level can just lean back and have a nice rest of your life and I hope that the kids will understand that someday. I am older than you, ripped my ass of every single day in my work life for 17 years, took over way more responsibility than you and I still can't afford the tiniest apartment in New York/ Manhattan. Finally start to think about real life!

  • Bless you Casey. Your message today, spoke directly to me. And others I'm sure. I appreciate you!

  • Even as a smaller youtuber this is SO RELATABLE 🙌🏻

  • wow

  • jontron especially lol. He disappears for months on end but still ends up getting millions of views

  • *_Pewdiepie_* "Suffering from Success"

    • legit in his case it's true lmao

  • It makes sense Casey. The more successful you are, the less you feel successful. The more you know, the less you know you know.

  • What would Ray William Johnson say ?

  • Longetivity over Relevancy... 💯% legit... Thank you 🙏

  • Is that GAMEBOY ???

  • As a youtube viewer, never a youtuber. And being subscribed to channels I do have favorite youtubers that I check on regularly but mostly I browse through the videos to check which is interesting to watch, but if I don't hear much from a channel I'll probably think it's no longer active and unsubscribe from it. So there should be a balance between quantity and quality.

  • God I hate that I came down here to hate even though I've been subscribed to Casey for nearly two years 😂

  • Stop blaming yourTube - blame greed!

  • Good output on this video. Quality over quantity!

  • Pewdiepie is boring

  • If you don’t have original talent and videos your just gonna have to piggyback other shit online. The competition is more fierce when they all have access to the internet.
